What is swinging?
Swinging is basically when a couple decides that one or both of them will sleep with other people. Swinging usually happens between couples that both have sex with other people with the other person knowing about it. They will go to swinging clubs together or swinger meetings together. They are aware of what the other person is doing in the relationship.
What are Affairs?
Affairs are when a person in the relationship goes outside of their relationship to sleep with other people without their partner knowing. Affairs happen when one partner or both partners are not happy together so they will go behind each other’s back to have sex with other people.
The Difference
Basically the difference between swinging and affairs is honesty. A couple that swings is aware of what the other is doing the majority of the time. They know that their partner is sleeping with other people. Whenever it is an affair it is when one of the partners does not know what the other is doing. Whenever the trust is broken and lies are told it is called an affair.
